Stainless Steel Motor Wiring Instructions
1
Check Nameplate
Verify that the motor electrical design data on the name plate matches the available electric supply being used.
2
Lead Connection
Verify the correct lead connection on the name plate. Then, connect the motor leads and power feed wires per the diagram. Afterwards, double check that the connections are correct and tight.
3
Insulation
Insulate with the proper electrical tape.
4
Rotation Test
Bump start the power (quick on and off to provide just enough power to start the motor) to verify the correct rotation. If rotation is backwards, interchange any two of the power feed conductors and reinsulate.
5
Control Device
Install junction box cover, and connect any speed controlling devices.
